Restaurant 03: Boqueria, New York City

Boqueria Tapas Bar and Restaurant was a restaurant I went to on my last night in Manhattan. When we got there the place was packed so the poor hostess had to sneak us into a gigantic table in the back.

For dinner we decided to embrace the tapas and share a bunch of different things. We had Croquetas Cremosas (creamy croquettes filled with mushroom and Serrano ham), Bombasdela Barceloneta (beef and potato croquettes), Salchichón (spiced pork sausage cured with garlic and herbs), Valdeón (goat, sheep, and cow's milk cheese that was a soft creamy blue), and Cojonudo (fried quail eggs and chorizo on toast). I would say that the Cojonudo and Croquetas Cremosas were my favourite by far. They were just so flavourful and tasty.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to New York City. It was just a over all fantastic place.

Location: 171 Spring Street, Soho Manhattan.
